An independent panel of contractors acted as judges in the contest that had 98 entries. The company’s RN Series rooftop unit was the Bronze Award Winner in the HVAC Commercial Equipment category. AAON RN Series Rooftop Units with Two-Stage Scroll Compressors combine energy savings with simple control, for a unit with up to 20.2 IEER, part-load efficiency. This configuration is available with all of the same premium features and options of a standard AAON RN Series unit. Energy efficient features include double wall rigid polyurethane foam injected panel construction, microchannel aluminum condenser coils, factory installed AAONAIRE energy recovery wheels, and direct drive backward curved plenum fans. Modulating hot gas reheat available for dehumidification. Isolated compressor and control compartments with lockable, hinged service access doors provide for easy service access of all sections of the unit.
