The Big Bang Theory creator Chuck Lore, gave a rare insight into what the forthcoming spin off series, Stuart Fails to Save the Universe, will look like.

In the upcoming series, Kevin Sussman will be reprising his role as comic book store owner Stuart Bloom, with Brain Posehn coming back as Bert Kibbler, a geologist at Caltech, Lauren Lapkus, who played Denise, the assistant manager of Stuart’s comic book store and Stuart’s eventual love interest, and John Ross Bowi, who will reprise the role of Barry Kripke, a fellow physicist at CalTech.

In an appearance at the Banff World Media Festival in Alberta, Canada, Lorre gave a few titbits on the show.

Reported by Variety, he revealed, "There’s a lot of CGI. There’s a lot of special technical stuff that you know, for me in my career, a big production number was two people sitting on a couch, drinking coffee! This is different."

Talking about the unique approach to the project, he added, "This is trying to incorporate some of that world of science fiction/fantasy into a comedy. And I’m completely out of my element, which is what I wanted."

"Which is what I was hoping to do, something that I had no experience with. And maybe I can learn as we go," Lorre said.

The Young Sheldon creator also shared that he in collaboration with follow Big Bang creator Bill Prady and The Avengers screenwriter Zak Penn have already written 10 episodes for the series.

The release date for Stuart Fails to Save the Universe is yet to be announced.
