Jo Co Commission OK’s Lake DeSmet Amendment to Agreement

An amendment to the grant agreement between Johnson County and the Wyoming Game & Fish concerning the construction of the new public access at the north end of the lake was approved by the county commission at their Tuesday meeting.

Commission Chair Bill Novotny and Lake DeSmet Operations Manager Paul Mavrakis discussed why the amendment was needed.

According to discussion, Civil Deputy County Attorney Barry Crago reviewed the amendment and saw no issues with it, recommending the commission approve the chairman to sign it.
