Int'l Building & Construction Industry Expo Kicks Off in Tehran

TEHRAN (Dispatchers) - The 18th Int'l Exhibition of Construction Industry started with the attendance of China, Germany, Turkey, Italy and Spain in Tehran.
Addressing the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Minister of Road and Urban Development Abbas Akhundi said that construction industry enjoys the capacity of boosting national income and industrial development in Iran.
He referred to competitive nature of Iranian products, saying they have their customers in international markets.
The event is to showcase architectural hardware, ceiling and wall coating, color, paste, construction machinery, consultants and contractors, decoration and design, doors and windows, electrical and electronic equipment, elevators, financial institute, floor covering, gas constructive industries, governmental organizations, housing cooperative societies, new technologies software, lifts and crane, locks and handles, pipe and fitting, rail and road, safe working tools sanitary ware and hygienic, scientific research and stones.

The 18th Int'l Exhibition of Construction Industry will be underway until August 9 in Tehran Permanent Fair ground.

More than 900 domestic and foreign firms are attending the international event.
Representatives from countries like Norway, Italy, Germany, Brazil, South Korea, India, Finland, France, England, Hong Kong, Switzerland, Australia, Austria, Japan and Spain have pavilions at the exhibition, the report added.
