Forbes reveals the 100 most powerful women in the world - but there’s only ONE Australian on the list… so can you guess who it is?
- Perth woman has made it to the Forbes list of world's 100 most powerful women
- Prestigious business magazine had her at number 45, ahead of Hillary Clinton
- She's also in the same company as Angela Merkel, Theresa May and the Queen
- Leaders of New Zealand, Norway, Poland and Myanmar joined Beyonce, Oprah
A Perth woman is considered to be one of the world's 100 most powerful women by influential American business magazine Forbes.
However, this baby boomer isn't a politician, so that counts out Acting Prime Minister Julie Bishop, who also lives in Perth, and Australia's first female PM Julia Gillard.
And being 63, it certainly isn't 2004 Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins, who is also a successful property mogul in her own right.
Like Acting Prime Minister Julie Bishop, this woman on the Forbes power list hails from Perth
And like Australia's first female prime minister Julia Gillard, this woman is also a baby boomer
Being 63, the Australian woman on the list of powerful women isn't Jennifer Hawkins, 33
So can you guess the Perth woman on the Forbes list of the world's 100 most powerful women?
If you guessed media-shy billionaire mining magnate Gina Rinehart, you're certainly on the money.
Australia's richest woman, who has an estimated net worth of $21.4 billion, or $US16.5 billion, came in at number 45 on the prestigious Forbes list of the world's 100 most powerful women.
The iron ore queen was well ahead of defeated U.S. presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, who came in at 65, and pop stars Taylor Swift (number 85) and Beyonce (number 50).
Forbes praised Ms Rinehart's business acumen, since she inherited her late father Lang Hancock's mining empire in 1992.

The Perth-based businesswoman is on the list along with several female world leaders
The media-shy iron ore queen was regarded as more influential than even Hillary Clinton
'The daughter of high profile iron-ore explorer Lang Hancock, Rinehart took her late father's bankrupted estate and rebuilt it into something much larger,' the judges said.
Forbes mentioned her Hope Downs iron ore mine in Western Australia's remote Pilbara region, which she owns with Rio Tinto, and her status as Australia's third-largest cattle producer.
However, Ms Rinehart was beaten by New Zealand's new 37-year-old Labour Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, who made it at number 38.
New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, 37, was 38th on the list, ahead of Gina Rinehart
However, the Forbes graphic oddly forget to include the nation of the New Zealand PM
Oddly, she was the only entry to be missing a national listing, despite being a world leader.
World leaders topped the list, with German Chancellor Angela Merkel holding the top spot, just ahead of British Prime Minister Theresa May.
Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen was number 15, one place ahead of her Chilean counterpart Michelle Bachelet.
Donald Trump's daughter and presidential adviser Ivanka Trump, at 19, and billionaire talk show queen Oprah Winfrey, who held the 21st spot, were both ahead of the Queen, who made the list at 26.
They also beat a range of world leaders including Myanmar's de facto leader Aung San Suu Kyi (33), Polish Prime Minister Beata Maria Szydlowas (31), Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wajed (30), Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, (39), her Estonian counterpart Kersti Kaljulaid, (78), and Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg, (46).
